1. Introduction

Welcome to Tank64 (the "Game", "Application", "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how Tank64 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website tank64.com, Android app (Google Play) and iOS app (App Store). By using the Service you agree to this Policy, our Terms of Service and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. Information You Provide Directly

  • Registration data: nickname, email, password (stored bcrypt-encrypted and not accessible to us).
  • Google sign-in: Google ID, name and email if you choose Google OAuth.
  • Guest play: chosen nickname and a temporary session identifier.
  • Chat messages and reports about other players.
  • Support: contents of your messages sent to info@tank64.com.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address and approximate geolocation (country/region).
  • Game telemetry: movement, shots, weapons and hulls used, scores, progress, match duration.
  • Technical device data: platform (Web / Android / iOS), OS version, screen resolution, device model and manufacturer, memory size, CPU core count, WebView version, network type, system language, app version, browser type.
  • Device identifiers: advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking) and push notification token.
  • Crash and error reports: technical details of the error, device model and app version.
  • In-app purchases: SKU, amount, currency. Payment details are processed by Apple and Google; we don't receive them.

2.3. Information from Third-Party Services

  • Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 — analytics and marketing performance.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel — ad measurement and retargeting.
  • Google Sign-In / OAuth, Google reCAPTCHA (bot protection).
  • Google AdMob — ads in the mobile apps, including rewarded ads for in-game rewards. Partner networks Liftoff (Vungle), Mintegral and Digital Turbine (DT Exchange) may serve ads through AdMob. They receive the advertising ID, IP address, device details and ad interaction data.
  • Firebase (Google) — app analytics, crash reports (Crashlytics) and push notification delivery (Cloud Messaging).
  • Meta SDK and TikTok Business SDK in the mobile apps — install campaign measurement.
  • OpenAI — automatic moderation and translation of chat messages, review of nicknames and clan texts. Only the text itself is sent.
  • Sentry — error reports from the website and the game server.
  • Telegram — sign-in via the Telegram Mini App and notifications from the Tank64 bot if you enable them. We receive your Telegram ID, name, username and language.
  • Apple App Store, Google Play Billing — in-app purchases.

3. How We Use Information

  • Operating the Service: multiplayer, matchmaking, progress saving, rankings, chat.
  • Account management, authentication, password recovery.
  • Security: fraud/cheat/bot detection, rule enforcement, bans.
  • Analytics and product improvement.
  • Marketing and retargeting via Meta, TikTok, Google (with your consent).
  • Showing ads in the mobile apps, including rewarded ads. Personalized ads are shown only with your consent: in the EEA and UK we ask on first launch, on iOS through the system tracking permission prompt.
  • Moderation of chat, nicknames and clan texts; translation of chat messages into your language.
  • Push notifications and Telegram messages about rewards and game events. You can turn them off in your device or Telegram settings.
  • User support.
  • Legal compliance.

4. Legal Bases (EEA / UK users)

  • Contract performance — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
  • Legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) — security, DDoS protection, basic analytics.
  • Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) — marketing cookies, Meta/TikTok Pixel, personalized ads in the apps, email newsletters. Withdrawable any time.
  • Legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c).

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it with:

  • Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (Frankfurt, Germany), Bunny.net (CDN for static files).
  • Analytics / advertising: Google (GA4, GTM, reCAPTCHA, Firebase, AdMob), the ad networks Liftoff, Mintegral and Digital Turbine, Meta, TikTok.
  • Moderation, monitoring and notifications: OpenAI, Sentry, Telegram.
  • Payment platforms: Apple App Store, Google Play.
  • Email service providers.
  • Government authorities under lawful requests.

6. Data Retention

Account data is kept until deletion. You can delete your account in settings or by emailing info@tank64.com. Technical logs: up to 24 months. Financial records: per applicable law (typically 5–7 years).

7. Your Rights

  • Access and receive a copy of your data.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Withdraw previously given consent (cookies, emails).
  • Turn off personalized ads: reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings, or deny tracking in iOS settings.
  • Data portability.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) additionally have the right to know, delete, opt out of "sale/sharing" of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising their rights. Requests: info@tank64.com.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). For EEA/UK users aged 13–15 parental consent is required. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child provided us with data, contact info@tank64.com.

9. International Data Transfers

Tank64 servers and the database are hosted on Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt (Germany, EU). Some partners (Google, Meta, TikTok, OpenAI, Sentry, ad networks) process data in the USA and other countries. For EEA/UK users we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and equivalent safeguards.

10. Security

We use HTTPS/TLS, bcrypt password hashing, rate limiting and monitoring. No method is 100% secure.

11. Policy Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date for material changes and, where appropriate, notify you in-game or by email.
